Nikita Chandak crowned Miss Nepal 2017!
the glamourous final was held on Friday 2nd June at Hotel Annapurna, Durbar Marg, Katmandu







Nikita Chandak has succeeded Miss World Nepal 2016, Asmi Shrestha. Four finalists were crowned runners up: Roijna Shrestha (first runner up), Niti Shah (second runner up), Sahara Basnet (third runner up) and Sahara Basnet (fourth runner up).
The Hidden Treasures Fanta Miss Nepal 2017 judges said selecting the five finalists, from eighteen contestants, who undertook six weeks of rigorous training, was a complex process. The top five left a lasting impression on everyone and wore the splendid crowns of success with joy. In addition, nine sub titles were awarded: Narmata Gurung (Miss Talent), Sahara Basnet (Miss Intellectual), Niti Shah (Miss Fascino), Rojina Shrestha (Miss Friendship), Barsha Pokharel (Miss Best Hair), Anusha Lamsal (Miss Photogenic) Nikita Chandak (Miss Confident and Miss Popular Choice) and Manzari Singh (Miss Athlete).
 Miss World Nepal 2017 is a twenty-year-old model and actress who hails from of the Morang district. Speaking about the pageant, she said
"Miss Nepal is a platform for my personal growth and development. With the crown comes a big responsibility towards the nation and its people. It’s a challenge but a beautiful one."
